The Laboratory is running a longitudinal study about infants’ theory of mind. There are altogether 4 phases in the study.
The 1st Phase of the study examines 16 -month-olds' theory of mind, that is, the understanding of other people’s intention behind their behaviors. The study also investigates whether an "awareness of verbal language" facilitates those understanding. Preliminary data have suggested that infants as young as 8 months of age are able to interpret others' behaviour in terms of how much and what type of information they have received.

After finished this phase, we would invite your baby to do other tests which are about languages and theory of mind during their 2, 3 and 4 years old.
